SAP Testing Manager
Your new challenge:
The SAP Testing Manager is responsible for developing strategies,
processes and procedures for efficient testing of ECC 6, BW, XI and
legacy systems for all tracks of the project.
* Manage and recommend best approaches for Unit testing, Functional
testing, Integration testing, Cutover testing, Performance testing as
well as Defect Management and testing metrics/reporting.
* Develop and maintain the Test Plan and Schedule
* Develop and manage test scope, test scripts and test results in accordance with test plans
* Allocate, coordinate, and manage project testing resources (including testing environments)
* Monitor testing progress and ensure schedule and defects are updated as defined by the PMO.
* Work with Test Teams to assess impacts to daily schedules as well as completed or in-process scripts
* Conduct formal review at the completion of each test/phase
* Ensure cross alignment occurs for planning/coordination of
make-live plan, business scripts, training materials as well as
corrections and transports
* Communicate and implement effective managerial and testing techniques, including training, mentoring and coaching
* Application Owner of Testing Tools, managing set-up, configuration, and usage.
What we ask for::
The following skills and experiences are deemed necessary for this position:
* Strong knowledge of Mercury’s Interactive Automated Test Suite,
Quality Center, QTP, BPT, Load Runner, TDMS, TAO, and Solution Manager
* Lead various implementations of SAP in the role of Test Manager
* Experience in writing, automation and execution of test cases and scripts.
* Strong decision making and significant experience with ERP implementation methodology and tools
* Project management skills
* Bachelors degree (Computer science or related field)
* 3-5 years with SAP testing experience
* 6-9 years in Retail/Financial/Systems related experience
* Prior experience in dealing with an off-shore development model
* Full cycle SAP implementation experience including an in-depth understanding of SAP Integration and ASAP methodology required
* Deep functional experience, 3-5 years of related business process
experience. Functional retail business experience is highly desired
* Strong management skills required, experience in managing/leading others
